Our history

LEOCHIMICA was set up in 1980 by three professional partners who decided to set up their analysis business in their own laboratory to verify the characteristics of agricultural and food production.

Over the years the company developed progressively thanks to its close relations with production and processing Iindustries, trade associations, public institutions, universities and research centres both in Italy and abroad.

LEOCHIMICA expanded its field of action to environmental areas, quality, training, safety at work and food hygiene, also as a result of the evolution in national and EEC regulations.

In 1997 Test Laboratories gained Sinal accreditation in compliance with UNI EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards, with number 157. By now over 300 tests have been accredited.

Thanks to its competitiveness and the ongoing reinvestment of profits, in 2003 LEOCHIMICA doubled its structures, implying a straight differentiation between the work of the laboratories and the Technical and Consulting activities.

In 2007 LEOCHIMICA following up a tight collaboration with the Province Industrial Association, located a branch office in Belluno, and earned later UNI EN ISO 9001:2000, with the subject of performing sampling, quality certification.

In 2008 LEOCHIMICA changed its company’s title and became a private limited company (Ltd.).

LEOCHIMICA works in synergy with companies operating in the following sectors:

• agriculture and animal husbandry;
• food and beverage;
• industry and craft;
• public;
• advanced tertiary.
